Rest In Peace, Jack Layton

It’s very sad times, one of the best politicians in a long time and possibly all time is no longer with us. Hope and optimism have defined his political career. He'll never be forgotten for what he did for Canada and for his belief that we Canadians can have better lives. I didn’t always agree with some of the New Democratic Party (NDP) policy’s but I always liked Jack Layton. His leadership qualities were truly outstanding, hes truly a dynamic leader.

Jack has been battling prostate cancer and had recently fractured his hip, it’s unbelievable he fought all of that and still fought for families too. If that couldn’t stop Jack then what could? He then announced he had a new type of cancer which was sadly the beginning of the end. I truly believed Jack when he said; he’ll fight cancer now so he can fight for families later. He said and vowed he’ll be back when Parliament resumed on September 19^th.Unfortunately his treatment has not worked out as he and we hoped.

I’ve always liked Jack because of his personality; he was a fighter, he fought for what he believed in which I loved. I believe he always had a soft spot in his heart for Newfoundland and Labrador, he always treated us fairly. Jack’s calling was clearly politics, he is naturally good at it and unlike the likes of Stephen Harper, his speeches weren’t all scripted. He could answer a question without having to memorize an answer. His leadership qualities always amazed me and they always will, he was meant to lead us.

He spent years building up the New Democratic Party (NDP) based on his beliefs that we can have better health care, equality, justice, and opportunity. After all his years of hard worked and determination paid off he built them up so very high, he finally managed to gain the Official Opposition. It was only a matter of time before he would of become Prime Mister like he said he would be in his high school year book. He got as close as he could get to that dream. If the New Democratic Party (NDP) kept going in the direction they were going, they would have gotten ever stronger and would have gained more supporters though out Canada. By the time next election rolled around they would have had a big chance to finally beat the Conservative government and Jack would have earned the title Prime Minster.

They can try as hard as they want but they will never find someone as good as Jack to replace him. Jack is one of a kind. What he had though us, will live on forever. “My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.”

CWI East Coast Invasion Tour

CWI (Championship Wrestling International) East Coast Invasion Tour at The Glacier Arena, 45 Olympic Drive, Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada was a great show despite Hulk Hogan and “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash not being there. It was the biggest wrestling event to happen in Newfoundland in along time and possibly the biggest event of all time. This event featured new talent as well as old talent such as; Robbie MacAllister, The Faltliners, Bolen, "Wildman" Gary Williams, The Nasty Boys, Brutus The Barber Beefcake, Bushwhacker Luke, The New Age Outlaws: "Road Dogg" Jesse James &"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, X-Pac, Tatanka and Scott Steiner.

The opening match, whom they also referred to as the bonus match was local wrestlers. Storm Front beats "Newfoundland's" Vince Austin & Psycho Mitch.

Robbie and a bunch are wrestlers come out and Robbie said it was great to be back in Newfoundland but then said absolutely not at that point I knew they were the heel. Robbie then introduced himself to us, especially those of us, who don't know him. He then called me self that crazy big bearded man that you guys all know from an all other product on television." Robbie then informed us tonight is the death of Robbie MacAllister and tonight we will bow down to him and call me the gritty and seeing how Robbie MacAllister is dead and gone he also cut the wheat of that fat bald tubby partner of his Rory. He then introduced us about the things that are buzzing in CWI wrestler. He gone out and found the best group of pro wrestlers this business has to offer. He went through Canada; and went though the United States. These gentlemen have the same motto as Robert and their motto is to take over CWI wrestling. Robert said Bolen is his toughest opponent and told us to consider this a Mutiny which later we found out this is the name of their group or what the New Age Outlaws called fashion. Speaking of the New Age Outlaws music played shortly after and they informed us they didn't come out here looking for trouble, as you can see he has his Tim Houston’s double double in his hands and then asked them if those guys got a little fashion. Robbie informed him that’s correct then New Age Outlaws informed them they had a fashion a little back called DX. Then New Age Outlaws said there not interested little Mutiny, what there interested in is Mutiny’s CWI tag team titles. The tag tem champions The Flatliner’s told the New Age Outlaws that they don't get a shot at them, if they remember they beat them already for these tag team titles and then The Flatliner’s wished them good luck getting another shot. New Age Outlaws said you see, if any thing they cheated and then said now that he thinks about it he was probably drunk that right. Robert said he probably was. New Age outlaws though that was Oh, real funny. Mutiny is a bunch of lads ready to do battle at any time and if you want at shot at these two guys tonight, why don't them and Robert have a six man tag and why don't the New Age Outlaws go to the back and find themselves a rag team partner because I know there little friend is suppose to be here but I haven't seen him yet. So, if New Age Outlaws don't find a friend to fight the Flatliner, they can have it. New Age Outlaws actually have a friend in the audience who can take our spot in the tag team match. Bad Ass" Billy Gunn gets a little boy and Robert said he’ll put is first down the little mans tout then said New Age Outlaws are only joking but tonight they’ll find that panther and they’ll kick New Age Outlaws asses. New Age Outlaws said they’ll tell them want, they’ll take a look around St. John's and I'm sure they can bring up a friend for a six man tag, latter to evening. Robert said gentleman, you're on and if you're not down with that they got two words for ya. The audience replied with "Suck it". Robert then told them aright, cut the music and said lets get this show on the road it's time for Bolen to take his next victim, bring him on out.

Tatanka comes out and tell us he been well and asks us how we’re doing (Mount Pearl). I respect that he got the name of the location he’s in right, he knows where he’s to which is good. Some of the wrestlers said St. John’s instead. Tatanks asks Mutiny if they think Tatanka is a fuel. He had seen what they did to other guys. Then asked why “Wildman” Gary Williams can’t face him one on one like a true warrior. Then Tatanka tells Mr. Referee, Mutiny is not aloud to be out here during his match so Mount pearl had a song to sign for Mutiny as they leave the building. It went something like this “Sha, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, good bye." Tatanka wins the match then after the match, he talks about the top of the cord in the main event is “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, the current CWI Heavyweight Champion. Well, when Tatanka started this business in 1990, holding the longest win streak in professional wrestling, two years undefeated. He’s also currently undefeated in CWI. As, you can see CWI invaded Canada. So, “Big Poppa Pump”, I understand “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash, was not there. When Tatanka made us aware of Nash’s absence, the crowd started to boo. He told “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, theres a vacant spot in the main event for the title. Tatanka issued an open to Scott Steiner with him in the main event. Then, Tatanka asked Scot Striner why he doesn’t come out confirm and face the Native America Warrior for the title tonight in Mount Pearl. Scott music plays. The announcer informed “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, Tanaka has called him out. Then the announcer informed us he just got word from the back, “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner is in the building but he never came out then because frankly he didn’t want to. However he has accepted Tanka's challenge to face him in the main event. Then we had an intermission.

Next up was a tag team match, The Nasty Boys: Brian Knobs and Jerry Sags vs. Bushwhacker Luke and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake. Knobs started this with a promo telling us to get off our fat asses, stand up and do some cheering because they deceive it. Knobs then informed us that they are wrestling in this dump. Then Bushwhacker tell us if we want them to give The Nasty Boys a good ass kicking give them a hell yeah, the audience certainly replied with “Hell, yeah.” Then one of the Nasty Boys throws a chair in the ring. The Nasty Boys cheated to win, that explains why one little kid decided to yell “They cheated” repeatedly. How they won was, outside the ring when the referee was distracted, Jerry Sags hit Luke with a chair and put him straight throw a table. Then Knobs got the win over Beefcake in the ring. Before the losing team left, they were mad and I believe they said “I believe The Nasty Boys are paid off the rock.”

Now then, Ladies and gentlemen’s, children of all ages, The CWI proudly brought to you, the WWF seven time tag team champions of the world! “The Road Dogg" Jesse James and "The Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, the New Age Outlaws. Billy runs up and down the stairs to try and find a tag team partner; he said that made him real tired. He was then handed the microphone and him and Road Dog posed and he said If you smell but Road Dog cut him off there and then they tried it again and he said and that’s the bottom line because Stone and that’s where Road Dogg cut him off, he tried to do it yet gain but this time he was laughing too loud. Road Dogg told Bad Ass he should have got oxygen in the elevator while he was up there. The response from the fans for this comedy promo was amazing with laugher. Finally, Bad Ass said The New Age Oulaws, if you're not down with that I got two words for you and the fans the said “suck it”. Robert tries to get the microphone and Bad Ass told him to get away, but hole. The crowd responded with yelling “but hole”. Robert then said "Shut up, listen you two bums, you want to call me a but hole but I see something wrong here. I see only two of you and three of us so be prepared.” I can’t recall all of what Robert then said but it was something like "Really, that’s all you got?" "Can you guess who friend that out showed all of you? You and you its time to end all. Road Dog then replied with "You make a sad mistake son because we got and our tag team partner is X Pac! When D-Generation X (DX) music played and X-Pac came out the crowd’s response was again amazing. X-Pac then addressed the crowd. They then went on to win the match.

Finally, it’s the main event; Scott Steiner yells at the announcer "Get your Punk ass out of here.” I can’t recall exactly what he said when he insulted us and said something along the lines of “Tonight, here is Newfoundland; I'm going to give everyone a chance to be a real man.” "Only problem is when I see the fans, I see fat ugly bitches.' "You take a picture of me; I'll take the face off of you." Mutiny tried to attack the Native Tatanka, so Tatanka wins via Disqualification (DQ). The D-Generation X came in to help Tatanka and Mutiny ran off an the rest is history.

This wrestling event got well received. For the meet and greet, all the wrestlers were so very nice. Although, most of the wrestler couldn’t go in the ring anymore the comedy was quite funny and enjoyable. We hope CWI will come back to our island of Newfoundland again. The Glacier Area was sold out, that’s certainly a good thing if we want them to return. This was quite possibly the biggest wrestling event in Newfoundland’s history. Again, thank you.

MusicFest 2011

MusicFest 2011 Voiseys Brook Park, Portugal Cove-St. Philips, Indian Meal Line., Newfoundland, Canada was a good show. This event featured bands from on and off the rock but mostly on. Bands such as; The Stone Cartel, The Celtic Connection, The Rolling Kings, Point Blank, The Sleevens, Stixx and Stones, Another North, Redline, Terry Parsons & Fabian Gladney, Even Keel, 709, Tarahan, The Rick Lambe Band.. The Stone Cartel headlined this year.

It was sad when they sent out a message “Due to poor feild conditions and damage to the stage and equipment, we have to cancel MUSICFEST 2011. On site, there is a large amount of standing water all over the feild, and running power cables through the water would be very dangerous. As a result I have decided to cancel the event. Pre-Sale tickets, will be refunded at a time to be determined. I will be placing signage with refund details !! Sorry for the inconvience !” Then thankfully they sent out another message “OK FOLKS SHOW IS NOW GOING AHEAD, WE ARE WORKING VERY HARD TO PREPARE THE PARK, STAGE AND EQUIPMENT. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD !!!! IT WILL BE DELAYED BY 1hr>>>>>SHOW TIME 3pm !!!!” Followed by “THE SHOW IS BACK ON!!!!! SHOWTIME 3pm !!!! we are working very hard to get the site up and running.......spread the word!!” This typed that it will only be delayed by one hour, it will start at three but it started at five and some how they still mannered to end it on time. I give them credit for this.

The Stone Cartel is an amazing rock band, this was the second time The Stone Cartel rocked the rock and hopefully with the response they got the last two years while they were here, they will come back for some more. This year they ever had an intro which was awesome and they had new and old songs and a new album, which by the way just recently came out. Their bass guitar player couldn’t play this show because he was injured which suck and I wish him a speedy recover. The guy they had filling in for him wasn’t that bad though. They were received well again this year.

This was yet another good MusicFest but unfortunately on there site they stated that this was the last installment of Musicfest which is sad because of how good it was the last two years. The promoter told us to remember to always support local talent and prompters. He once again thanked us for supporting the show.

The Salmon Festival 2011

The Salmon Festival 2011 in Grand Falls-Windsor was simply, amazing. It was one of the, if not best out door concerts, we ever had in Newfoundland and Labrador. The line up was Fefe Dobson, ELO The Orchestra, Down with Webster, Smashmouth and KISS (headliner). It was a nice day for this event.

The opening act was Fefe Dobson, she was both good looking and good. I'm not a fan of pop but she is one of the better pop artists and I must ratter have her there than most rappers because of the audience rappers tend to attract. Fefe could sing pretty decently and it was a decent opening act. The next act featured some former members from the band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) they renamed this band The Orchestra. They were good; it was nice hearing old music. Down with Webster was the act after The Orchestra, they were alright too. The only thing I didn’t like about Salmon Fest was their lack of food venues. The next band I was most impressed with (besides KISS of course) was Smash Mouth, they are a good rock band and are probably worth seeing at their own concert. I enjoined their Van Halen - You Really Got Me cover. Last but certainly not least was the headliner of this year Salmon Festival 2011, the hottest band it the world, KISS. I enjoyed their performance beginning to end.

I loved when Gene said "Alright, Grand Falls-Windsor! You Wanted the Best, You Got the Best! The Hottest Band in the World! KISS!" I was waiting for Gene to say that for years. After the first song or songs Paul said “How you doin Newfinland?” “Man, oh, man Grand Falls-Windsor, all of the parts of this great island.” “I want to tell you something, I don’t like to curse but we don’t give an f*ck about the rain, we’re hair to party.” He said they were going to play old stuff, new stuff all kind of stuff. I liked towards the middle when Gene said “Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, alright.” Before when was and is of my favorite songs God of Thunder. I like how deep Gene’s voice was when he said “I'm the lord of the wastelands, A modern day man of steel, I gather darkness to please me, And I command you to kneel, Before the God of thunder.” Paul said that we’re that rock capital, if he really meant that well that’s awesome. When it was over they played the soundtrack God Gave Rock and Roll to You, it was an amazing felling and I still couldn’t believe I saw the hottest band in the world, KISS.

This was the best out door event concert, I’ve ever been to and one of, if not the best outdoor concert event in the history of Newfoundland. We we’re lucky to have the hottest band in the world, KISS perform here. This was more than likely because of Gene’s Newfoundland connection, his girl friend for nearly three decades, the lovely Shannon Tweed. Finally, Shannon made her return home to Newfoundland. She did an episode of Republic of Doyle and if rumor has it right, they were taping Gene’s hit reality show: Gene Simmons Family Jewels. I’m thankful, I got to go see it and thankful that they came to a little island like Newfoundland. Grand Falls-Windsor popular is 15,000, there were over 25,000 people at the concert which is a all time record for The Salmon Festival and one of the, if not the most attended concerts in the history of the island of Newfoundland.

Legend City Wrestling The GORE TOUR!

Legend City Wrestling (LCW) had yet another great tour: The GORE TOUR! 11'. Rhino, formerly Rhyno in WWE made his LCW debt at The Clarenville Events Centre in Clarenville as it states in the name of the stadium. Clarenville has a nice new stadium; the LCW show took place in the theatre arts room not the actual stadium which was good for LCW because it was almost filled unlike if they were to have it in the stadium. I don't happen to remember the full match card but I will call it as I remember.

If, I recall correctly Kowboy Mike Huges opened the show he came out and then said: "Cut the music stupid.” Then some one it the crowd yelled "I know, I'm not as dumb as you look." Kowboy then continued "First of all what I would like is for each of every one of you futility inbreed morons to shut up and pay attention." "Since the last time I was in this futility dump, I was just the LCW Heavyweight champion and since then I won every Canadian title there is in this country and they unified them as the Canadian Heavyweight title." "That's this belt right here." "That's twenty (20) pounds of gold and leather." "So, that's mean I am absolutely the very best this country has to offer.” “That's means when I go to Puerto Rico, I represent this county and everyone in it.” “That's means when I go to Japan, I represent this country and everything in it and I'm going to talk to the premier and see If I can get Newfoundland token out of the country because I don't want to represent you fat, lazy hillbillies anymore." Kowboy then takes a break then counties. "So, what I'm going to do, I'm going to beat the crap out of the next punk that gets in the ring that thinks and thinks he belongs in here with me and I'm getting out of here and going straight to the premier’s office and having a word about getting rid of Newfoundland from my country because I'm the champ that's what this belt means." First Kowboy refers to it as a title than a belt, according to superstars such as The Miz it’s a title because he earned it, and you can get replica belts at stores such as Wall Mart. Kowboy then turns left and says; "I have no idea what your saying, se you can't even speak English or French." "This Jibberish which your saying, I don’t want my country either." "Look at you that jean pool hair looks like a mud puddle.” “So, I don't want any of you people in my country, so ring the bell and announce the next guys name, get him out here, so I can beat him up and get out of here as soon as possible." The announcer then said “Ladies and gentlemen, his opponent weights in at 185 pounds and he come from us tonight from Mexico.” Ladies and Gentlemen make some noise for Loco!” Loco's entrance then plays, Kowboy gets of out the ring, he gets on the apron and said "That's right, shut up." Then little kids started yellowing at him things such as “No you, shut up.” Some one in the crowd, I believe it was a little kid called him a chicken. Kowboy responds with "I'm not chicken, you're the chicken. "I’m the champ.” The bell finally rings for the match to start. A little kid then had an argument with Kowboy he said something like "Wearing that" Kowboy responded with “Wearing what, pants?" Then Kowboy pointed at him and said "You're wearing pants." The little kid reposed with “You're shirt" "This is a wrestling singlet, not a shirt, you dummy." Kowboy then gets in the ring and said "Who’s the man? That's why I’m the champ and you people are losers." When Kowboy got put down on the mat he yelled something along the lines of “Holy that hurt.” A guy in the crowd replied “Man up, b’y.” When the referee counted to only two (2) Kowboy argues with the crowd saying it was a three (3) count. Kowboy then went on to get the three fall and won the match against Loco but this certainly wasn’t the last we seen of Kowboy.

Later on that night it was Mr. Fantastic vs."The Big Picture" Chris Cooke however Kowboy Mike Huges interrupted that match then Rhino came in to save Mr. Fantastic. Rhino said “Cooke, Huges, tonight, you two versus us right here in this ring.” Huges and Cooke tried to jump Mr. Fantastic and Rhino with Huges title and Cooke had a chair but it didn’t work as they hope it would. The announcer then said "Ladies and Gentlemen, I have just be informed by the commissioner that if Mike Huges don't participate it this tag team match tonight he will be stripped of the Atlantic Canadian Heavyweight Championship.”

A mid card match was Alexander Saint vs. Roy Toy. Roy Toy was the winner but Saint’s performance was outstanding, amazing. I really liked Saint’s drop kicks. Another mid card match was Peter Walley vs. Sexton Phoenix if I recall correctly.

Finally, the main event was a tag team match Mr. Fantastic and Rhino vs. Kowboy Mike Huges vs. "The Big Picture" Chris Cooke. When Huges and Cooke was outside the ring someone form the crowd yelled at them “You're a hillbilly” Huges replied with “We don't live in Newfoundland.” The fans chanting Rhino, this chant upset Kowboy, he kept telling them to shut up. Rhino and Mr. Fantastic pulled off a win over Huges and Cooke then Loco came out to celebrate with them. Rhino then said “Huges, after pinning you tonight makes me the number one (#1) contender for the championship.” The continued with “So, Sunday in Torbay, it's you and I for the heavyweight title.”

In Torbay at the Jack Byrne Arena it was in the actual stadium unlike in Clarenville. The stadium was half pull of fans. The matches were basically the same as the Clarenville show but they just had different wrestlers in the matches. Unfortunately, I don’t recall all the matches. The match I remember the most is the main event of course. Rhino vs. Kowboy Mike Huges for the Atlantic Canadian Heavyweight Championship. I’m pretty sure “The Big Picture” Chris Cooke came in and Kowboy Mike Huges hit Rhino in the head with his title and the referee didn’t see it. Kowboy got the three (3) count and retrained the title. Mr. Fantastic then came to help Rhino. Rhino then said “Mr. Fantastic told me that I got hit with the belt, well got hit with something.” “But I promise you one thing; it doesn't matter where it is, in Newfoundland.” “Mike Huges, I will come after you and I will bring it right back home where it belongs, in this great city, in this great country with the respectable champion and that is the war machine, Rhino.”

This was yet another successful tour by Legend City Wrestling (LCW). The roster, despite it smallness in size, they still put on good shows. Although, some of the wrestlers performed more than once per night it didn’t really matter because they were just that good to be able to do that. Rhino performed well both in the ring and outside the ring. I’ve noticed how incredibly nice Rhino is outside the ring but inside the ring he still mannered to make you believe that he is mean and bad. Rhino closed this tour with saying that he is going to get revenge on Kowboy Mike Huge and he is also going to take his title. This leaves suspense for the fans, not knowing when he will make his grand return.

Seagate External Hard Drive

When I received an error message from my laptop "Windows detected a hard disk problem. Back up your files immediately to prevent information loss and then contact the computer manufacturer to determine if you need to repair or replace the disk." I went out and brought an external hard drive to do so. The hard drive, I bought was Seagate Expansion External Disque Externe 1TB USB 2.0 Plug-and-play. However, when I got home with this new hard drive I could now longer access Windows to back up my information.

I did however back up all my information on my desktop computer, so all of that is now safe. The Seagate hard drive seems to work fine. The only issue, I had was the software included with it. A program by the name of Memeo was the included program. I later realized that was only a free trial and I also realized that it doesn’t automatically back up data to the external hard drive, it automatically backs up to an online storage of 1GB. This is some what disappointing. The main purpose why I wanted this hard drive was to back up my data. I like backing up myself but if it did include software (that wasn’t just a trial) it would be neat having my data automatically updated but at the same time that would probably slow down the process of my computer while I’m trying to use it. It would be neat if it automatically updated in the night, while I was sleeping.

Even though the software that was included was a disappointment, it still serves the main purpose of why I bought it and the main purpose being to back up my data. Logic probably tells you, I bought this device to back up my data easily. I don’t have time to back up on other derives for instant a DVD. If I had the time to back up on devices such as DVD’S then I probably wouldn’t have typed this article.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Bundle

I got Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Bundle for yet another successful year at school. I've haven't play it much yet but from what I played of it, it's an amazing game. I played Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock back in the day but only with the guitar. I only wanted the whole band set. Stores no longer sell the instruments because there's not that popular anymore. It's basically the same game just edited a little and some new tracks. They keep releasing new games until people got sick of it. They are going to need to some up with something a little difference, I'm expecting a new release in about two years but until then I managed to get Warriors of Rock Bundle online on Amazon.

WWE Legends of Wrestlemania Gameplay

I started playing WWE Legends of WrestleMania a while back and decided to film and upload some gameplay videos. The first video is my first match: Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. Mr. Perfect. The second video is on how to get the Grapplemania Achivment. You need to win a match using only grapple attacks. Only use the R button attacks. Change the difficulty to easy. I found it easier using Hulk Hogan against Big John Studd because Hulk Hogan has the most overall (91) and If I recall correctly Big John Studd has the least over all (79). Don't do finishers it will wreck this.

The Herder Memorial Championship: EastLink CeeBee Stars vs. Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts Game 1 Sunday, March 27, 2011 was a decent game and good hockey despite Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts winning. It was also a good series. Mile One Cetnre in St. John's didn't have a team so aside from a couple of AHL games that's basically the only men’s hockey we get all year. I have filmed the Pre-game, Awards ceremony and the Anthem's singing. It’s in my video down below.

Dell Inspiron 1501: help needed!

When I start up my Dell Inspiron laptop, I get a black screen with an error message: "Windows detected a hard disk problem. Back up your files immediately to prevent information loss and then contact the computer manufacturer to determine if you need to repair or replace the disk." I could however still start Windows. I later got the error message: “SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 4

WARNING: Immediately back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive. A failure may be imminent.

Press F1 to continue.

I pressed F1 as it told me to and all I'm still getting is a black screen with a white cursor in left corner. I could no longer start Windows.

I've tried many options, including putting in the Vista installation disk in and trying the tools on that except install the OS, I don't want to lose my data if at all possible. Unfortunately none of the options or so called solutions worked. If you know of any possible solutions, please comment below.

Now that I have made my final decision to continue blogging on Blogger, I'll post a good bye final post on WordPress. I got a lot of stuff to blog about. I'm going to blog about events I went to such as; Salmon Festival, MusicFest, LCW and so on. I'm also going to blog about some technology unboxings I did. Basically, I'm going to blog about all my recent YouTube videos and get my blog up to date. I also have some other good blog ideas in mind; I have a couple of ones about politics in the works. I also have some blog surprises in the works along with the politics ones. Along with updating my blog, I’m also going to be updating my Flickr. Stay tuned in the coming days as there is going to be a lot of posts within the same time. Once I get my blog up to date, I’ll try my best to keep my blog along with all my online content updated as things such as events happens and when ever I upload YouTube videos, I'll be sure to have a blog post follow up. I’m looking forward to the coming days.

Blogging war concludes

The bloging service war concludes, well for me. In my previous blog post, I've stated that I have to choice between Goolge Blogger (Blogger.com) vs. Wordpress (WordPress.com). I have made my final decision, I compared both blogging services and I have picked the blogging service that have the features I like the most and have very few features I dislike. This is basically a follow up on my previous post.

Major things I like about Blogger are; they don't show ads on your blog, I can indent, Blogger lets every template has a mobile version, The current template, I'm using is full screen and it adopts on almost every monitors/displays to maintain full screen, I can have third party gadgets and last but now least you can edit the HTML. I dislike that Blogger doesn't really have non-simple templates and Blogger also doesn't have a word count for posts.

Now on to Wordpress, I like some things about it which are; there is an over overwhelming amount of themes (templates) and WordPress has an application on several devices including in the Apple App store. I dislike how WordPress might show ads on your blog, I can't find a theme that will display full size on my full screen monitor, in other words I can't find a theme that will adopt its size to most monitors/displays, WordPress doesn't allow scripts/widgets, for example a visitor tracker. WordPress gives you very little control over templates and they don't let you edit them. WordPress doesn't allow you to have third party widgets. WordPress doesn't let you indent in its post editor. Also WordPress doesn't let you embed YouTube playlists.

I have narrowed down the features that I like and dislike. As I stated in my previous post both blogging services are good. They both bring something different to the table so I like to appreciate both but at the end of the day when it comes down to it, I need to use one instead of two and stop posting on both as that is ratter silly. I had made my final decision on which blog service I'm going to stick with and which one, I'm going to dump. I like and dislike many things about each service; Blogger and WordPress. I have made my decision based on which I like and dislike the most about each service. I've enjoined using both blogging services over the last few years. Now I'm only going to dump WordPress and stick with Blogger.

Blogger vs. WordPress

Goolge Blogger (Blogger.com) vs. Wordpress (WordPress.com). I've been blogging on this blog and my other blog which is on WordPress since 2009. I mostly only posted photos and videos but technically that's still blogging. I had posted the same posts to each blog, when I look back at this it was ratter silly of me to do so. The reason behind this being, I couldn't decide what blog to use. If you're expecting a full in dept comparison between the two blogging services, you found the wrong article. I'm just stating my opinion on both blogging services.

What I like about Blogger is they don't charge you for any additional upgrades, templates and so on. You can customize the templates to your liking. You can have a mobile version of every template, all you have to do is go into setting and click "Show mobile template on mobile devices" and it's that easy. Blogger lets you use its old templates as well as the old templates which I find awesome because I like the old (original) templates better because that's what I had when I first started using Blogger. On my blog right now I have a old template because it looks good on almost all monitors/displays, it adopts its size/ It's easy to change the Favicon/website icon of your blog. You can add many useful gadgets to your blog, first and third party. I have a third party tracker on right now and over the last year or so it informed me that I have had people visited from over twenty difference countries. Blogger claimed and have a proven record not to show ads on blogger blogs. You can monetize you blogs and have ads shown via Google AdSense. I had ads on my blog for sometime, I only made a small amount of money in the last little while. I recently removed them but if my blog ever become popular it would be easy to put ads back on it again as it was the first time. Blogger lets you submit your posts by email. In the future, I may want an domain name. Blogger would allow me to get a domain name easily via Google apps for a more than reasonable price. On the Blogger Dashboard they have a "Reading List" which is a nice feature. Once you get into sometime such as Design, it opens in tabs on the top which includes; Postings, Comments, Setting, Design, Monetize and Stats. Under the posting tab it lets you create new or edit. The tab just for comments is nice. Once you click one the Settings tab it is then broken down in semi-tabs for option which makes it pretty simple and basic. The Design tab is nice because it allows you to arrange widgets. The Stats tab gives you an overview of well your stats. It lets you easily embed YouTube videos and playlists. Blogger lets you indent. Last but not least the auto save is awesome if it wasn't for that you wouldn't be reading this post right now.

I dislike very few things about Blogger however there are a few things that I don't like. I don't like how there's no contact forms; I had to add a third-party contact form. Also, I don't like how there are only a few templates to choice form and most of them are simple. I don't like how the template editor can't be used with old templates; I guess they want you to use their new templates. I can see their point but more importantly I can see mine. Blogger is from Google, Google is pulling to try and break into social networking so they may change Blogger. Blogger had a simple post editor; features such as word count aren't even included.

I like several things about WordPress. One of the things I like most about WordPress is there over overwhelming amount of themes. You can get simple to advance themes. It has a decent post editor. The word count to me is what really sets it off.

The time has come to start blogging again

I've haven't blogged in recent months because school work have gotten most of my attention. When school was out, I had a lot to catch upon which is based on my interests. Blogging happens to be one of my interests that is on my list to catch upon. Even with school work, I was still able to allow myself time to work on my videos which by the way is upon my YouTube channel. There's simply wasn’t been enough time to do both; videography and blogging.

Now that I have caught up on things, I decided it's time to start blogging again. Last school year, I did a lot of papers so my writing improved a lot. My teacher last year gave me the comments that I have a unique and original writing style. Another important thing which I need to catch upon is my Flickr. School isn't the main reason why I haven't been uploading photos to Flickr. Flickr have informed me that I'm close to my photo limit of two hundred (200) and If I didn't upgrade to a pro account you will only be able to see my recent two hundred (200) photos but none will be deleted. I'm fine with that I guess, so I'll be uploading new photos shortly of events I went to such as; The Salmon Festival, MusicFest 2011, LCW The Gore Tour and so on.

With regrades to blogging, I'm going to try and type a formal writing style and not just post photos and videos which I've been doing in the past. I'm still going to post photos and videos, the only difference being the post's are going to have a lot of text explaining what the post, photo, video and so on happens to be about. I'm soon not going to be posting to both blogs; Blogger and Wordpress. I'm going to choice one of my two blog's and stick with it. It's ratter silly for me to keep posting to both of my blog's. I will have an blog post coming soon featured on both blogs on which blog I should choice; Blogger or Wordpress.

WWE Champion The Miz vs. John Cena
I think The Miz will win and still be WWE Champion because Dwayne The Rock Johnson will come in and screw John Cena because last week on WWE Monday Night Raw John Cena gave Dwayne The Rock Johnson a Attitude Adjustment, The Rock is looking to get revenge on John Cena.

The Undertaker vs. Triple H (No Holds Barred Match)
The Undertaker will win because Triple H is not going to be the one to end Undertaker`s streak, Undertaker is not done yet. If they wanted The Undertaker`s winning streak to be over, Shawn Michaels would of been the one to end it last year.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio
Alberto Del Rio will win because it`s his “destiny” to win and because Edge & Christian def. Alberto Del Rio & Brodus Clay last week on WWE Monday Night Raw, this makes Edge look very strong, it wouldn't make sense to have him win at WrestleMania he don't need The World title to get over with the fans, hes already over, however Alberto Del Rio is not over, he could use the Word title to put him over.

Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole with special referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Jerry Lawler will win because he is a wrestler who never had a WrestleMania moment before and Michael Cole got the best of Jerry Lawler over the past few months and people can`t wait to see him get his ass kicked.

John Morrison, Trish Stratus & Snooki vs. Dolph Ziggler & Lay-Cool
John Morrison, Trish Stratus & Snooki is going to win because if Snooki lost it would not make her look good. John Morrison is better than Dolph Ziggler and Trish Stratus is the greatest women wrestler of all time.

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
Randy Orton is going to win because he been in the WWE longer than CM Punk and CM Punk go the best of Randy of the last few weeks.

Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella, & Vladimir Kozlov Vs. The Corre
The Corre will win because there a team, there going to be on the same page and they have experience. The Corre lost on both Raw and SmackDown last week; Santino Marella def. Justin Gabriel and Kofi Kingston def. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett by Disqualification in a Non-Title Match. This makes them look weak because WWE is trying to make the other team look strong and make people believe hat they will win but after tonight they will no longer be a team, The Corre is going to be a team after tonight, that why I fell that The Corre is going to win.

United States Champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan is going to win and become the U.S. Champion once again because he is the better wrestler between the two and Sheamus & Dolph Ziggler def. Daniel Bryan & John Morrison last week on WWE Monday Night Raw, this makes Sheamus look really strong and he got the best of Daniel Bryan as of late, I think Bryan will over come this and win and become U.S. Champion once again.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes
I think that Rey Mysterio is going to win because he been around longer than Cody and Cody Rhodes def. Chris Masters on SmackDown last week, this makes Cody look strong but after the match, Rey Mysterio rushed in and was poised to strike with a 619. However, Rhodes managed to escape Mysterio’s wrath. This match could go either way but I feel that Rey Mysterio will win.

I think Wade Barrett will win and become the new WWE Champion because Randy orton is red hot over the top and don't need a champion belt to put him over he is al ready is over and John Cena got to take orders from Wade Barrett. So I think Wade Barrett is going to make him cheat and Wade Barrett got Nexus.
